We were asked by RSSL (Reading Scientific Services Limited) to help them with a rebrand that reflected the company’s energy, purpose, and confidence. After a strategic review conducted in three stages, we created a visual and verbal identity that had the concept of ‘Evolutionary Science’ at its core and the statement ‘Transforming lives through science, innovation and collaboration.’
We created a new logo and a line that reflected the spirit of ‘Evolutionary Science’. We created a visual language for the company that is visible in their actual and virtual working environments, from what they wear in their laboratories to the cups that they drink their coffee from.
We wrote and directed an RSSL film showing how, in a rapidly changing world RSSL were leaning into the future with ambition and confidence across their three main business areas of Life Science and Pharmaceuticals, Food and Consumer Goods and Training. The film was at the core of RSSL’s new website and social media campaigns.
We created exhibition stands for each of those business areas reflecting the new brand and reinforced the five key strengths of Evolutionary, Caring, Collaborative, Intelligent and Trusted underlying RSSL’s brand proposition.
We produced a Brand Book and Guidelines that articulated the new brand and showed all employees how they could use the new visual and verbal identity on a day-to-day basis.
