Big Change is a network-powered charity that is reimagining education. The charity is growing and developing its activities, so the Big Change team asked TBW to help refresh their brand look and feel and refine key messaging. We worked closely with clever friend Jon Gedny and Line who were tasked with creating a new Big Change website that incorporated our revised look and feel.
Refreshed brand identity
Web look & feel
Web design support
Copywriting key messaging
To understand Big Change’s mission, voice and current needs, TBW and Line started the project with a creative workshop involving key decision makers at the charity. We identified what they wanted their refreshed brand identity and website to achieve and the key audience groups that they wanted to attract.
We developed a refreshed Big Change brand, and offered a look & feel specifically adapted for web, using bold type, playful icons & imagery, and a refined use of the brand colours.
We focused on delivering key messaging in a visually dynamic way, partly by ‘decluttering’ the content of their site. This strengthened content that helps key audience groups better understand the charity’s goals and how it works in order to increase engagement.
Working in partnership with Line (scoping, web design and development) we ensured a consistent application of the refreshed brand on the responsive new website. Line took a user-centred design approach to the website, working with Big Change to develop the site through a series of iterations, using rapid prototyping and interactive wire-frames.
The new website was launched in April 2019.
