To coincide with Grosvenor Britain and Ireland (GBI) taking back the management of Grosvenor Square from The Royal Parks (and as part of their 20 year vision) we have developed and helped plan a broad public integrated communications campaign, ‘Shaping the Square’ .


The campaign is designed to create an on-going dialogue with a wide public audience and is based on an open a call for thoughts, opinions and ideas on how Grosvenor Square could be improved over the short, medium and long-term. It was launched with the release of an animation, press release and social media campaign.

We followed this up with a qualitative and quantitative research exercise asking over a 1,000 Londoners - ‘What's in your Square?’. The outputs from the project has helped GBI establish five principles on what makes a great square that we shall use as the foundation for the next stage of ’Shaping the Square’ - the formation of a panel of experts to explore the possibilities further followed by an international professional call for ideas.

TBW used these findings to write and design an online report/ thought piece, produce a short film and generate a suite of social media content.
