Hunterian Museum
The Hunterian Museum is an extraordinary medical collection housed in the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Lincoln's Inn Fields, London.
The collection consists of anatomical and pathological specimens, wax teaching models, surgical and dental instruments, paintings, drawings and sculptures.
To showcase this collection thebigwindow were asked to design a Guidebook which would act as a souvenir for visitors to the museum (currently 50,000 per year) to take home and as a discussion piece with friends and family.
thebigwindow worked with RCS to define the content and then developed the look and feel of the 48pp book. We decided on a portable A5 book with an A4 clear print version available for partially sighted people.
The guidebook will be officially launched on 14th April 2011.
